My War on Jeans | Wishlist

15:21:00

Lately, I've been trying to find alternatives for jeans. The process of making jeans is very polluting and I don't want to contribute to that. Plus, I feel like jeans give a very laid back and youthful look and as I grow up I want to change my style to seem more mature. I feel like I still get treated as if I was a 15-year-old and I don't like that. I want to be taken seriously and to do that I need to change my style. Obviously, I still don't want my style to be boring and I still want to have fun with it. I still like bright and vibrant colours and flattering cuts.
And that's why today I decided to share a little wishlist with only bottom pieces to get me inspired for the future and to hopefully inspire some of you as well if you're into the same things I am.

To be honest, when I went looking for these pieces I was mainly focused on trousers but after seeing so many pretty shorts and skirts and jumpsuits I had to add some and they ended up taking over. Those pink PrettyLittleThing Shorts are the cutest shorts I have ever seen. And the green jumpsuit from Zara is so adorable because it looks like a dress but it's actually a jumpsuit so it's cute and comfortable. Not to mention the lace midi skirt. I really want to try some midi skirts, they look so chic and this one is just to die for. I don't know if you can see it very well but on the checkered trousers from Zara, they have a ruffle in the pockets which adds such a cute detail and definitely takes the piece to the next level.
Which piece is your favourite?

I hope you're having a great day,
Marta Ribeiro xx

  1. These are some wonderful options. I love wearing skirts and dresses instead of jeans!
