The Last Bit of Winter (I hope) | OOTD

by - April 19, 2018

I took these pictures last Sunday. And now, on Tuesday, I'm writing this post wearing a tank top! A tank top! The temperatures have been rising quickly and hopefully, they'll stay that way for a long time. I was sick of the cold weather, the rain, the wind. I'm happy to be in the sun, in the heat, in a t-shirt and shorts or a dress. I'm ready for Spring and Summer.
On another note, on this particular day, the ocean was going crazy. The tide was so high and the waves were huge. There wasn't much wind and it wasn't raining and it was actually pretty warm.  I was able to take these pictures before a wave almost hit me.
I don't think I had shown this vest yet here on the blog. I wanted to get a belt to tie at the waist but I haven't found one I like yet. I styled it with a blush sweater and my new jeans. I think dark green and blush look great together. And since green isn't really a colour I love, mixing it with pink makes me like this outfit more.
Also, how bad do my roots look here? I hadn't died my hair for a while but geez, the lighting doesn't help, does it? I did dye my hair later that day though.
