2 Years of Around Colours!

15:21:00

Happy birthday to the blog! Exactly two years ago I pressed "Publish" on my first ever blog post and there started a ride I would never forget. When I started, I had no idea what the future held for me. I definitely did not expect my blog to grow as fast as it did and I didn't expect to have gone through so many things in my personal life and end up where I began which is writing blog posts and doing what makes me happy. I honestly never thought I'd still be here two years later. But I am and I couldn't be happier.

What I learned
I learned that I need to be patient and that if I work hard, success will come.
I learned that I need to do what I love and not care about what people think.
I learned that life doesn't go the way we want it to sometimes.
I learned that I can be what I envisioned myself being.

There's still a lot to learn (tune in for next year's anniversary post to find out haha) but these are the most important things I've learned in these two years and I can't wait to see what the next year brings.

Goals for the year
When it comes to numbers, I don't have big goals. Maybe double or triple my followers in social media and the views on the blog.

When it comes to objectives, I'd really like to step up in quality. Get a better camera, get more creative, think things through, do things with more time and not procrastinate so much and end up doing it all last minute (been happening especially in the past few months...). I'd really like to have my own little club of readers, people who are regular readers and that interact with me and the blog all the time. I'd also like to keep getting some income from the blog. I'd also like to interact more with my readers, do more giveaways, q&as, maybe link ups. I'd want to transition the blog to Wordpress and get someone to design a blog for me, something original and mine.

What I'm thankful for
I'm thankful for how much the blog grew.
I'm thankful for the readers that take time out of their day to read my posts.
I'm thankful for the sweet people that take a few more seconds after reading and leave a nice comment.
I'm thankful for the brands that believe in me enough to work with me.
I'm thankful to have my physical and mental health that allows me to do something I love so much.

And because this isn't just a one-way street, I want to hear from you. What do you want to see more from me? What are you expecting from me this year?

I hope you're having a great day,
