Medieval Fair | OOTD

by - August 14, 2017

I absolutely love history and when a city near my own throws a medieval fair, I obviously have to attend. This particular fair is probably one of the oldest ones in the country and it's also probably the best one. Every year, the city throws this fair with a bunch of restaurants, shops and live shows, all according to the year the fair is supposed to mimic. Everyone working there, including actors that just walk around in their costumes, act as if we weren't in 2017 but in many many centuries ago. It's the small details about this fair that make it such an amazing experience to live.
For the night I visited the fair I thought I'd wear something that I could easily match a flower crown with it. If you don't know, flower crowns are probably the most sold item in this fair. Almost every woman and some men walk around wearing flower crowns and there's even a myth regarding the pretty hair accessory but I won't mention it because I think it's a bit sexist so let's move on.
Because I wanted something that would match a flower crown easily I decided to wear my new white shorts with embroidered roses on it. These shorts are super pretty and there's a review of them and other items I got from Zaful coming soon.
I decided to match it with this really pretty polka dot shirt that you've seen countless times. And I wanted to take my off-white sneakers but because there are loads of dirt roads inside the fair, I thought it'd be best to take my already dirty sneakers.
Unfortunately, I didn't get any good pictures of me with the flower crown because it was already getting dark so I just decided to add a really bad picture of me thanks to the flash in my camera which makes me look like a ghost. (The fact I'm really pale doesn't help either)
