Blue & Polka (Dots) | OOTD

by - June 19, 2017

I haven't posted an OOTD in a while, have I? Things have been busy and I haven't had much creativity with my outfits either so this weekend I finally decided it was time to take pictures.
I recently got this skirt from Rosegal (review coming soon) and I thought I'd wear it for today's post. I'm not gonna say much about it because there's a review coming soon but as you can see, the skirt fits super well and it's so pretty! I wasn't quite sure how to style it. At first, I wanted a simple but cute top, in a fun colour but when I went to look for one in my wardrobe, I had none. I ended up going for this navy one because it seemed like a cute combination to me. I paired it all with sneakers and a black bag because you know I like to keep it simple. I didn't even think about wearing any accessories for a very simple reason: it's way too hot for that. And you're lucky I wasn't wearing a ponytail because I sure thought about it before leaving the house!
I don't know why my back looks so arched in these photos, I swear I felt fine, maybe it's just the t-shirt playing tricks.

I think it's only fair that I talk about what's currently happening in my country with the huge fire that killed so many people, animals and devoured countless kilometres of forest. There are so many people injured because of it and so many others lost their homes and have nowhere to stay, no lives to go back to once this is all over. The only thing I can ask you is to show some support on social media and if you can do a bit more, please donate to the cause with money or food (more information on how to help in this article or translated version here even though I'm not sure if it works)

I hope you're having a great day,
Marta Ribeiro xx
